Vesi Hristova Jones leading an interactive stress management workshop

I’m Vesi.

I’m a licensed psychotherapist with over a decade of clinical experience in high-acuity settings, specializing in anxiety, burnout, and the patterns that keep people stuck in cycles of over-functioning and self-doubt.

I offer engaging, practical, and evidence-based workshops and speaking engagements designed to empower individuals and organizations.

Through my leadership roles with P.E.O. International, I also understand the demands of leading, collaborating, and sustaining well-being within complex organizations.

Whether you are hosting a conference, leadership retreat or a team development session, I deliver impactful talks and workshops that address real-world challenges.

Based in Wellesley, Massachusetts and available for in-person and virtual speaking engagements nationwide.

Why Organizations Invite Me to Speak

I believe mental health education should feel accessible, practical, and deeply human. Whether I am speaking to a room of professionals, a community group, or a panel of women navigating midlife transitions, my goal is the same: to help people understand what is happening in their nervous system and leave with tools they can actually use.

My speaking style is warm, grounded, and interactive. I often incorporate brief experiential practices so attendees don’t just learn about stress, self-compassion, or burnout, but feel the difference in real time.

What audiences often appreciate most is that I meet them where they are. There is no one-size-fits-all message, no pressure to “fix” themselves. Just thoughtful guidance, clarity, and permission to approach life with more self-trust and kindness.

Signature Talks & Workshops

Stress, Burnout, and the Nervous System

Understanding the difference between stress and burnout, how chronic stress impacts mental and physical health, and practical strategies to regulate the nervous system before, during, and after stressful situations.

Women, Burnout, and the Mental Load

Exploring the unique pressures women face across life stages, including people-pleasing, perfectionism, and the invisible labor that often leads to exhaustion and self-doubt.

Navigating Midlife Transitions

Supporting women through perimenopause, identity shifts, and role transitions by addressing the stress-hormone connection and offering tools for emotional regulation.

Self-Compassion as a Tool for Resilience

Why self-compassion is not weakness, but one of the most effective tools for emotional resilience, boundary-setting, and sustainable growth.

All talks can be adapted for keynotes, workshops, panels, and virtual or in-person formats.

What Attendees and Event Organizers Are Saying

"Vesi was very knowledgeable and concise with what she presented. She made the information easy to understand and was engaging and approachable. She made attendees feel as though she was speaking directly to them. The tools she shared were realistic and doable. She left our audience understanding how stress effects our bodies feeling more equipped to handle the “busy ness” and stress we all feel."

She provided detailed examples and solutions to various mental health and wellness topics and was very engaged, thoughtful and compassionate when answering some of the questions I was able to ask."

"I invited Vesi to be part of my It’s Lifey widow retreat this summer. She was beyond phenomenal. She was always present, engaged with all the women who had lost their spouses, led a session on coping mechanisms and was a huge support to me running it. All the women felt incredibly safe and comfortable having her there."

“Vesi spent about 45 minutes with each group – sharing research and science behind stress as well as several practical and intentional exercises that we practiced together. Participants felt more relaxed and ready to tackle the rest of the day by the end of our time together. Vesi has a lovely calming presence along with excellent real life examples."
