  • At the beginning of the session, we will identify the most important two to three topics you would like to address that day. Then we will work through each topic by identifying how you responded in the given situation and what are more adaptive ways to respond to a similar situation in the future. We will also address areas where you feel stuck and examine negative automatic thoughts and core beliefs that are holding you back from living life to the fullest.

  • We will incorporate a variety of skills including mindfulness, utilizing the five senses to self-soothe, self-compassion, and identifying and challenging negative automatic thoughts. My goal is by the end of treatment for you to have a toolbox of strategies that you can access on a daily basis to manage relationships and life stressors, so you feel grounded and in control of your life.
